Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Can we use OpenOffice, Powerpoint 2011 for Mac,...?
This question refers to the Powerpoint add-in to upload file, and it is only available for Powerpoint on Windows. But we are offering online presentation editor so such add-in is no longer necessary. We will support uploading other file formats (Powerpoint, OpenOffice Impress, Keynote,...) in the future.
2. How to uninstall SlideGo add-in for Powerpoint?
Go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Software (or Programs & Features in Windows Vista/Windows 7)
3. The conversion doesn't work or look exactly like original Powerpoint.
While we try to simulate full Powerpoint function and expect output to be very close, the result is not 100%. It is either due to the current limitation of HTML5/CSS3 technology, or there could be a software bug. Please let us know of any problem or send us your Powerpoint file to review.
4. How to publish content to iTunes Store?
We are building SlideGo Viewer for iOS and Android. It allows you to download your files or other public files to view offline, in full screen. Please stay tuned!
Meanwhile, you can also use the free software Phonegap builder. First download the content as a zip file, then uncompress and load them into Phonegap assets (www folder). No further editing is needed. Do note that publishing to iTunes Store requires Mac OSX and Apple developer account. For support on using Phonegap please visit Phonegap website.
5. How to embed a slide to my web site?
Copy embed code under slide information box (below the main slide viewer). You may change width and height parameter of the iframe code to fit your web page.
